Tessera Center

The Tessera Center for Lifelong Learning in Bothell, Washington, offers young adults with autism and other developmental disabilities a wide array of skill-building opportunities that foster independence, develop social connections and enhance quality of life.

Our program is staffed by an interdisciplinary team of professionals specializing in lifelong learning, behavior management, social communication, community access and recreation.

Individual program plans are created for each member using a person centered approach to support individual abilities, hopes and dreams. Daily program activities are customized to assist members in becoming more independent and included in community.

The Tessera Center for Lifelong Learning supports members who are:

  • 18 years or older
  • Live in the geographical area served by our program
  • Interested in pursuing and developing skills that promote increased independence
  • Require high levels of support or supervision for everyday activities
  • Have sensory seeking or sensory avoidance behaviors
  • Non-verbal or have language needs that require specific accommodation
