Meeting the special educational needs of teens and young adults
Tessera recognizes the need for an education specially designed for kids with autism. By 2010, our goal is to operate a day school offering a year-round interdisciplinary education to students ages 11 to 21 who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Students will get individualized programming from a team of professionals working together including special education teachers; speech, occupational and physical therapists; psychologists; behavior specialists; health services professionals and other related education service providers.
